At the hour of dusk
Sanjhry — Hindi for twilight
Named for the golden hour that belongs only to the Aravallis, Sanjhry is best experienced as the sun descends and the hills glow amber. Evenings here feel like they were made to last.
Sanjhry sits on the spine of a low Aravali ridge with views that open up on three sides. The house is built to follow the sun — terraces for morning, a shaded courtyard for midday, and a west-facing roof for the evening. The pool is small and warm. The bar is unhurried. Most guests end up watching the same sunset from the same spot every evening of their stay, which is exactly the point.
